These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of mmroofrepair.com (the “Site”) and your engagement with Mike McGilvary Roofing, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

We are a family-owned, Florida Certified Roofing Contractor (license CCC1331721) serving Palm Beach County and South Florida since 1974, providing roof inspections, roof repairs, tile roof preservation, roof rebuilds, roof certifications, and related roofing services.
2. Using the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site. Prohibited uses include transmitting unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content; attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems; and using automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site except as permitted by our robots.txt.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photos, icons, and software — is the property of Mike McGilvary Roofing, Inc. or our licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
4. Service terms
The following terms apply when you engage us for roofing services:
Inspections and estimates
We offer a free, no-obligation roof inspection. Following an inspection, we provide a written estimate before any work begins. We will not perform work beyond the approved estimate without your explicit authorization. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued, subject to material availability and pricing.
Scheduling and cancellations
Work is scheduled by agreement and confirmed before it begins. Timelines are confirmed on the approved estimate and may be affected by weather, material availability, permitting, and conditions discovered once work is underway. You may reschedule or cancel at any time before work begins at no charge; once materials have been ordered or work has begun, you are responsible for costs incurred to that point.
Workmanship and materials
Our work is backed by a workmanship warranty as specified in your written agreement or contract. Manufacturer warranties on roofing materials apply in addition to our workmanship warranty and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Unless excluded in your agreement, warranties do not cover damage resulting from storms, accident, abuse, neglect, alterations or repairs performed by other parties, or normal wear; or consequential damages. The specific scope, terms, and duration of any warranty are governed by your written agreement.
Payment
Payment is due as set out in your written estimate or agreement. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards unless otherwise arranged in writing. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Florida law.
Lien rights
Under Florida’s Construction Lien Law (Chapter 713, Florida Statutes), unpaid balances for completed work may be subject to the lien and collection remedies available to us under Florida law. We will attempt to contact you at the address and phone number on file before exercising any such rights. Your written agreement may contain additional lien-disclosure notices required by Florida law.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: our liability for any claim arising from services we provide is limited to the amount you paid for that service; we are not liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost business, or inconvenience; and nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Florida law.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mike McGilvary Roofing, Inc. and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or our services.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Information on the Site about roofing, Florida’s Roof Age Law, insurance, and certifications is general information, not legal or insurance advice, and does not guarantee any insurance or coverage outcome; every roof is evaluated on its own documented condition.
8. Third-party services
The Site integrates with or links to third-party services (such as Google Maps, Google Analytics, our chat assistant, and news coverage). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If it cannot be resolved through discussion, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Palm Beach County, Florida, before pursuing litigation. Any lawsuit must be filed in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Site with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site or engagement of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
